As early as a year ago, I buried this scene in my heart. After four seasons of twists and turns, we finally arrived in April, the best, earliest, and clearest window period for shooting the Zhenning Arrow Tower and the Milky Way in the same frame. Time pays off the wait, I rushed to this silent ancient arrow tower as scheduled, to make a promise with the stars.
The night is deep, and the four fields are silent. The Arrow Tower stands still in the vast night sky, with its green bricks carrying a hint of historical coolness, and its flying eaves outlining a rugged silhouette. The surroundings were quiet and almost ethereal, without the hustle and bustle of cars and horses, without the noise of human voices. Only the wind gently brushed over the city walls, like the whispers of the passage of time. Such tranquility is enough to relieve all fatigue, and after seeing the starry sky, one can sleep peacefully under the breath of ancient buildings.
I set up my seat and waited quietly. The deeper the night, the brighter the starry sky, and the Milky Way, like a plain train, slowly stretches across the sky, casting a clear glow and gently enveloping the ancient arrow tower. At this moment, the weight of bricks and stones perfectly blends with the vastness of the Milky Way, from ancient times to the present, from stillness to movement.
At midnight, the sky and earth were silent. Suddenly, a dazzling light streak cut through the night sky - a fireball suddenly passed by, dragging a bright tail flame and disappearing in an instant. I happened to freeze this fleeting miracle with the ancient Milky Way. The Arrow Tower is speechless, the Milky Way is vast, and shooting stars are casting their shadows. All the waiting has the most beautiful answer at this moment.
The long night is long, I guard this silence, guarding the ancient building and the starry sky. There is no disturbance, no haste, only time flowing slowly. The footsteps of a year ago, the rush of April, and the shooting stars at midnight are all surprises bestowed by the starry sky.
That night, the Zhenning Arrow Tower lived up to expectations, the Milky Way lived up to expectations, and I was fortunate enough to capture this unique April romance between the ancient tower and the Milky Way.
